Day 1
The colorful landscapes of the eastern seaboard are waiting for our arrival. We motor eastward toward the Atlantic shores. Our first overnight will be in Toledo, OH.

We continue our journey east, with a picture stop at Niagara Falls. Take a few minutes to absorb the sights and sounds of these towering waterfalls while looking across to Canada. We’ll also stop for dinner this evening before checking into a Syracuse, NY hotel for the night.
B, DDay 3
Welcome to vacationland! We travel across the lower portion of the New England area today on our way to Cape Neddick for a stop at Maine’s southernmost lighthouse. Enjoy the picturesque view and salt air. Upon arrival at our hotel in Ogunquit, we will be treated to a wine and cheese reception. Then, we settle into the comforts of the Meadowmere Resort.
B, DDay 4
After breakfast, we travel to Perkins Cove for a unique lobster boat cruise to learn how the Maine lobstermen make their living. Today a local guide will join us for a tour of Kennebunkport. The childhood home of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, the Victoria Mansion, and the bustling Old Port are just a few of the landmarks you’ll see as we travel from city streets to rocky coast. We even get out in the water on our lobstering cruise to learn how these tough men make a living in the sea. We’ll stop for a visit at the iconic Portland Head Light, Maine’s oldest lighthouse before heading to our hotel for the next two nights, the Hampton Inn in Bath, Maine. Later, we dine at a waterfront restaurant with soothing live entertainment.
B, DDay 5
We’ll start our day with a narrated boat tour. On this very popular trip you will see everything Boothbay Harbor has to offer. You will see lighthouses, sealife, the rocky shores of Maine, and boats of every kind. We will then visit Boothbay Railway Village. This turn-of-the-century Maine village complex contains railroad memorabilia, antique cars, trucks and restored buildings to stroll through. Also enjoy a train ride right here in the village on the narrow-gauge railway. This evening we are treated to an authentic Maine lobster bake* while enjoying some tales told by a native-born Maine storyteller. Mainer’s really know how to spin a yarn!

B, DDay 7
First thing after breakfast we’ll see if we can spot a moose or two on a locally-guided moose tour. Because of their massive size, moose find it easier to move about in open areas – making it fairly easy to catch sight of one if you are fortunate enough to be at the right place at the right time. They can often be spotted along logging roads, diving for meals in wet boggy areas, hanging out in gravel pits, and clip-clopping down hiking or snowmobile trails. We then pass into New Hampshire’s scenic covered bridges area to make our way across the Kancamagus Highway, one of America’s most scenic routes, making picture stops along the way as we travel through the White Mountains. See waterfalls and beautiful fall color as we travel to Lincoln, New Hampshire and our Holiday Inn Express/or Indian Head Resort for the night. There is time to freshen up before a wonderful dinner highlight. Our included dinner will be on the Café Lafayette Dinner Train.
B, DDay 8
Today we leave the scenic east coast and begin our journey homeward. Our overnight accommodations will be back in Syracuse, NY.
BDay 9
Sit back and enjoy the scenery as we continue to roll towards home. We stop for an included lunch enroute before stopping at the one-and-only Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland. See amazing displays and featuring artists like Elvis, The Beatles, and Pink Floyd’s The Wall. Learn about the history and legends of rock and roll music and the songs that shaped it. We’ll spend our last night in the Toledo, OH area.
B, LDay 10
The territory begins to look more familiar as we motor home with memories of New England’s rocky coast. We stop for one more included lunch in the Shipshewana, Indiana area.
