Day 1
Off we go for a spectacular and extra-long weekend to Music City - Nashville. With so much to see, hear, and experience, this itinerary captures the very soul of Nashville in one encompassing tour experience.We travel with new friends to our first overnight in Louisville, KY and the Drury Inn.
Day 2
This morning we travel through the rolling hills of Kentucky and Tennessee arriving Nashville late morning. Begin with a visit to Belle Meade Plantation. Lunch will be served in the mansion's signature restaurant "Belle" and includes three-course meal of delicious southern fare. Arrive in Nashville later this afternoon, where our local guide joins us for a narrated drive to acquaint us with Nashville's history. Our accommodation will be at the Holiday Inn Express Nashville Downtown property off Broadway for the next three nights, where you will be able to enjoy the local and historic attractions during your dedicated free time.
B, LDay 3
Start your day with a great breakfast, setting the perfect tone for an exciting immersion into all things Nashville. Begin at the Country Music Hall of Fame, where you'll explore a vast collection of memorabilia that weaves together the rich story of country music through two centuries. For lunch, enjoy a meal at Ole Red, where the atmosphere is alive with a local live performance. Dive deeper into the city's musical roots with a guided tour of The Ryman Auditorium. This remarkable venue, once a gospel church and the original home of the Grand Ole Opry, carries with it the spirit and legacy of countless legendary performances. As evening falls, soak up the true essence of Nashville with a live music show at the Grand Ole Opry. This legendary stage brings together both rising stars and celebrated artists, offering an unforgettable glimpse into the heartbeat of Music City.
B, LDay 4
Later this morning, experience the serene Cumberland River with a luncheon cruise aboard the General Jackson Showboat. After this much-loved event, we make way to enjoy a guided backstage tour of The Grand Ole Opry. We leave this evening up to you - free evening to enjoy Nashville, at your leisure. Whatever you fancy, it's on your terms tonight. Coach returns to hotel approx. 5:30 PM for your evening at leisure.
B, LDay 5
After breakfast, today, we say goodbye to Nashville. As we return to familiar terrirory with our memories delighted with the sights and sounds of our dear Nashvillle, Music City.
