DEPOSIT PAYMENT
Deposit amounts are listed separately for each tour in the planner. ALL deposits are due at the time of reservation by VISA or MASTERCARD. You will receive a tour confirmation/billing statement after making payments along with travel insurance information for optional purchase.
FINAL PAYMENT
Final payment dates are listed for each tour. Final payment dates are also shown on your confirmation/billing statement. For reservations made after the final payment due date, full payment by VISA or MASTERCARD will be required when reservation is made. Final payments not received by the due date may result in cancelled reservations and loss of deposit.
DISCOUNTS & CERTIFICATES
Coupons and gift certificates can be used on any tour in the planner. All certificates should be sent in with DEPOSIT payments. NO CASH REFUNDS will be given for certificates presented after FINAL PAYMENT has been made.
TRAVEL PROTECTION
All tour participants agree that Lamers is not responsible for their trip cancellation or interruption for any reason including personal injury, illness or death or other personal circumstance. Purchasing travel insurance is a personal decision. Transactions will be entirely between the consumer/traveler and the chosen insurance company and has no affiliation with Lamers Tour & Travel or its affiliate companies/divisions.
CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
You will receive a full refund of all monies paid to Lamers Tour & Travel if you cancel your reservation on or before the final payment due date printed on your confirmation/billing statement.
Any cancellation made AFTER the final payment due date is subject to complete loss of funds paid. There will be no refunds given to any customer by Lamers Tour & Travel or by any subsidiary of Lamers. Tours involving air travel, rail travel, cruises, or other modes of travel may have significant penalties for cancellation. Lamers Tour &Travel strongly recommends the optional purchase of Travel Insurance with your deposit payment to protect your travel investment.
TOUR DOCUMENTS
Your travel documents are sent approximately 7 days prior to tour departure, after full payment has been received in one of our offices. Documents include departure and return information, day-by-day itinerary, baggage tags, hotel addresses and phone numbers in addition to other pertinent travel information.
FLEXIBLE FLY / MOTORCOACH
Many of our tours can be customized to be Fly/Motorcoach tours. You can join many of our tours by flying into a major city enroute thus customizing your personal tour experience. In the event a tour cancels because of low participation, Lamers Tour & Travel is NOT responsible for refunding any airline tickets purchased by individuals. Call any of our offices for more information.
LATE RESERVATIONS
Reservations are accepted up to 48 hours prior to departure, depending on space availability and/or departure location. If you book after the final payment due date, a VISA or MASTERCARD payment in full is required to secure your space.
AGE RESTRICTION
Children must be a minimum of 12 years old to join any one-day or overnight retail tour.
LUGGAGE
Each passenger is allowed one suitcase handled through the tour and must not exceed 50 lbs. A small, duffle-style carry on not rolling-style is permissible and must be carried by the passenger. Additional suitcases handled by the driver and hotel porters will incur added cost.
MEDICATIONS
Please take along enough medication to last the duration of your trip and always carry it with you.
MEMBERSHIP
Tour membership is granted to all. Lamers Tour & Travel reserves the right to decline, accept or retain any person as a member of all tours presented.
PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP
Please carry your passport for proof of U.S. citizenship for any tours extending outside United States borders.
PROOF OF IDENTIFICATION
Some tours may require proof of identification to enter certain facilities. You may be asked to give your drivers license number or State ID number at the time of reservation and asked to bring along that ID card with you on the tour.
COVID 19
This tour may have requirements due to COVID regulations. For example, proof of COVID vaccination, booster and/or testing. It is the travelers responsibility to make sure they provide the necessary requested documentation for participation. Lamers Tour & Travel cannot accept liability for any passenger refused entry into any hotel, attraction, restaurant, etc. due to failure of the passenger to provide requested documentation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Tours are arranged and operated by Tour of the Month®, Inc., d/b/a LAMERS TOUR AND TRAVEL herein referred to as LAMERS, Milwaukee, WI. LAMERS acts only as agent for the participant (tour patron) in all matters connected with hotel accommodations, tours and sightseeing, admissions, restaurants, and other suppliers of services and transportation. LAMERS is not responsible for any willful or negligent act and/or omission of the supplier (who is an independent contractor not under the control of LAMERS). LAMERS cannot guarantee any suppliers rates, bookings, or reservations. Airline tickets or public carriers issued in connection with these tours shall be a contract solely between the carrier and the passenger, with payment for any fare increase or cancellation penalty being the sole responsibility of the passenger(s).
Since we seek to insure the compatibility and congeniality of all passengers and the smooth, safe, and efficient operation of each tour, LAMERS reserves the right, in its sole discretion, and at any time to decline or retain any person as a member of the tour; terminate any persons participation in a tour whose condition or general deportment impedes the operation of the tour or affects the rights, welfare or enjoyment of others; make changes in times, itinerary, sightseeing, accommodations or routing of trips to the best available alternate should circumstances demand; cancel a tour (in which case LAMERS only responsibility will be to refund passengers deposits and/or any payments made, which will clear LAMERS of any other liability).
The tour participant agrees that LAMERS and its agents will not be responsible for loss or damage to baggage or any passengers belongings for any reason; any inconvenience, loss, injury, death, damage to, or in respect of persons or property whatsoever as agents of participant performing such services; any damage, loss or injury cause by climactic or weather conditions, fire, government actions or terrorist activities, earthquake, social or labor unrest, acts of God, bankruptcy, or other factors or conditions beyond LAMERS control; or loss due to participants failure to follow instructions. The payment of the required deposits and/or any partial or full payment for reservations on a tour shall be deemed and constitute full knowledge, acceptance, and consent by the participant to all provisions in this clause. Choice of Law: The relationship between the parties is governed by and is to be construed under the laws of the State of Wisconsin, which shall be considered the proper venue. Any dispute between the parties shall be submitted to arbitration in accord with the provisions of the State of Wisconsin arbitration law. LAMERS may not be sued unless there is full compliance with all of the provisions of the aforesaid conditions. No person, other than an authorized representative of LAMERS by a document in writing, is authorized to vary, add or waive any term or condition herein.
