Luncheon & Show at Jacob Henry Mansion Estate
View Dates & Book
We travel to Joliet, Illinois for the day for a Mystery Luncheon at the Jacob Henry Mansion Estate.
You will start with an included luncheon of Jake's Cordon Bleu. A boneless breast of chicken served open with ham, cheese and Béarnaise Sauce. Complemented by wild rice, steamed broccoli, rolls, garden salad and dessert.
Lucky you! Youve been invited to the Dunn Speakeasy for the wedding of the year. In this married to the mob event, youll never know who to trust. With the two families merging together, someone is bound to lose power, which means someone else will lose their life. Get on the trolley and solve this case with your fellow detectives.
If you're interested, you're welcome to dress like the cats meow for this mafia wedding. Flapper dresses, zoot suits, feather boas and headbands, pinstriped suits and fedoras are all appropriate. Traditional wedding attire is nifty too!
After solving the mystery you will have a self-guided tour of the first two floors of the mansion. Built in 1873, this lovely National Landmark is fully decorated and is well known for its beauty and also for its old Victorian charm. After exploring the mansion, you will be able to peek at the Old Central Church where wedding ceremonies are held on the estate property.
Before leaving Joliet we make a stop at Dan's Homemade Candies. They have been around since 1919 making the finest gourmet chocolates made from real ingredients.
Dan's brings you the real deal!
