Stepping into Mazzaro Italian Market feels like you’ve slipped through a crack in Florida and landed straight in a bustling corner of Italy. Their door barely closes behind you before your nose detects the aroma of warm bread, sharp provolone, sweet pastries, garlic, espresso. It’s loud in the best way: deli slicers humming, voices calling orders, the soft clink of bottles and shopping baskets. There’s no easing in. Your eyes don’t know where to land first. Shelves are stacked high with olive oils in elegant bottles, pasta in every shape you didn’t know existed, tins with Italian labels you can’t read but instantly trust. The bakery case glows—cannoli, tiramisu, cookies, fresh breads, etc. At the deli, meats and cheeses are displayed like crown jewels. Prosciutto is shaved paper-thin. Mozzarella is so fresh it looks like it might still be warm. Enjoy your quality deli lunch on the spacious outdoor covered patio. It’s crowded, a little chaotic, and completely intoxicating. If you’ve never been, Mazzaro’s is an experience worth discovering. “You don’t just shop at Mazzaro’s—you experience it.”

After a delicious lunch (on your own), walk next door to the kitchen and home goods gift store Casa di Mazzaro. The shop features cookware, housewares, specialty teas, artisan tools, French presses, ‘foodie’ gadgets. Next door to the Casa di Mazzaro is Zagara Gelato, a Sicilian gelato and granita shop for dessert or a cool treat. Don’t be an “April fool” today, enjoy all the Mazzaro family’s offerings. Arrive 11:00am and leave 3:00pm.
