ICE, ELF and CIRQUE

ELF is the theme for this year’s annual ICE! holiday celebration at Gaylord Palms.  The star is Buddy the Elf.  Remember Buddy?  He’s the human boy raised by elves at the North Pole.  Experience his journey to N.Y. City to find his biological father while you stroll through giant sculptures and scenes hand-carved from 2-million pounds of colorful ice.  Other movie characters featured in the 20,000 sq ft, icy attraction are Papa Elf,

Mr. Narwhal, Jovie, Walter Hobbs and Santa Claus.

To create this frozen wonderland, forty world-renowned ice sculptors carve about 6,700 blocks of ice, each weighing about 300 pounds.  This walk-through exhibit is kept at a chilly 9° F and visitors are provided with parkas to stay warm. It is suggested that guests wear pants, socks, closed-toed shoes and bring gloves, a scarf and hat. 

Your tour includes preferred seating at Cirque: Spirit of Christmas, a dazzling live performance combining dance, theater, and acrobatics weaving a heartwarming Christmas story throughout the performance. Elaborate costumes; vibrant lighting; special effects are key elements of the show.

Restaurants at Gaylord Palms embrace the holiday spirit, offering jubilant dining experiences from fine dining to casual bites and you will have time to purchase a meal. Make time to stroll through this magical & unique winter wonderland designed by the resort to reflect the joy & wonder of the holiday season. Expect elaborate decorations in an enchanting atmosphere!

Please be advised that the bus will be stopping at all three pick-up points (Wildwood, Inverness and Ocala) for this and all tours.
