Traveling Through Time-East Troy Railroad

Travel with us to East Troy Electric Railroad  in East Troy, Wisconsin where we experience a relaxing 7 mile round trip ride through Wisconsin’scountryside aboard a historic electric railcar. Learn the history datingback to 1907 of this old rail line in the East Troy Depot Museum, see a scalemodel trolley layout and browse the gift shop’s array of railroad items.On the return trolley ride we make a special stop at the Elegant Farmer. This upscale shopping experience  was even featured on the Food Channel. Here you will find all the goodness of homemade, fresh picked and deliciousofferings in their Farm Kitchen Bakery, Deli & Market. Elegant Farmer is also home for their award-winning  Apple Pie Baked in a Paper Bag®.

An included lunch buffet at the Italian House in Janesville will be served. They have been serving Italian favorites since 1987.

Our final stop will be at the Milton House Museum in Milton. This busy 1844 Stagecoach Inn was a successful part of  the Underground Railroad Station. Walk the very path of history as you travel through the same secret passageway that ushered freedom seekers to shelter with this docent led tour.
