This day tour focuses on the "go-to" sights you want to see when visiting Tarpon Springs, "Sponge Capital of the World".

Enjoy his vibrant spirit as he leads you through the historic district of Tarpon Springs Greektown including Victorian homes, eclectic shops, St. Michaels Church, etc.  Have you wondered why the main street is named Dodecanese?  Ask Michael John.

Enjoy lunch on your own at Mama's Greek Cuisine.  Authentic Greek dishes are prepared with fresh ingredients and daily specials are offered.  After your lunch break, Michael John escorts you to the Sponge Docks for another 'must do' experience relating to rich sponge-diving heritage.  After lunch, board a sponge boat for a one-hour tour on the Anclote River featuring a demonstration of sponge harvesting by a diver in traditional diving gear weighing 142 lbs.

Tour includes three separate tastings: wine, coffee, and bakery goods which will round out your amazing Greektown experience before heading home.
