Northern Everglades Adventure

Glide smoothly over “river of grass” landscapes, a memorable airboat adventure across the wild waters of West Lake Tohopekaliga (Lake Toho), Kissimmee, Florida. There is a sense of freedom and escape while traveling over areas that man cannot reach on foot or by car. The 90-minute ultimate ride from 11am to 12:30pm leaves from Partin Triangle Park on the St Cloud canal. Glide through a thriving habitat that serves as one of the true headwaters of the Everglades with a knowledgeable “master captain”. (Ear protection provided.)

As the airboat skims across the water, slip into winding marshes, pristine wetlands, and ancient cypress swamps draped in moss. These areas are home to an incredible variety of wildlife—alligators, wading birds, bald eagles, turtles, and countless species that rely on this environment to survive.

This extended tour allows you to travel farther and explore areas rarely seen by most visitors, giving you more time to take in the scenery, capture photos, and learn how this delicate ecosystem functions. Hear how the waters flow south to shape the Everglades, discover the importance of conservation, and gain a true appreciation for Florida’s natural heritage.

Arrive 1:00pm at Crabby’s on the Lakefront aka Crabby Bill’s, East Lake Toho, for lunch (on your own). In addition to seafood specialties, land lover favorites are included on the menu. Dining here is a pleasant pause after your thrilling airboat ride—a perfect way to unwind and reflect on the experience.

The motorcoach departs from Crabby’s restaurant at 2:30pm.

Be advised that the bus will be stopping at all three pick-up points (Wildwood, Inverness and Ocala) for this and all tours.
