Honeymoon Island and Caladesi Island
Spend a relaxing day at beautiful Honeymoon Island State Park near Dunedin, one of Florida’s most treasured natural destinations. Known for its peaceful atmosphere, pristine white-sand beaches, and stunning Gulf views, this is the perfect opportunity to unwind, recharge, and enjoy the beauty of the coast.
Whether you prefer basking in the sunshine, taking a refreshing swim, snorkeling in the clear waters, strolling along the shoreline, or exploring the nature trails, the day is yours to enjoy at your own pace. If you plan to hike the trails, be sure to bring comfortable walking shoes and insect repellent. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available for rent at the South Beach Pavilion, and changing facilities are conveniently located nearby.
For those seeking a little adventure, consider a visit to nearby Caladesi Island State Park, famous for its shelling beaches and natural beauty. Round-trip ferry tickets may be purchased at the ferry ticket office, located approximately a 10–15 minute walk from the South Beach Pavilion. A delicious lunch is included at 12:30 p.m. at the South Beach Pavilion. When making your reservation, please select one of the following lunch choices: Island Burger, Fish Sandwich, or Shrimp Basket. Each meal includes chips and a fountain drink.
Gather your family and friends and make it a memorable beach day filled with sunshine, laughter, and lasting memories. The motorcoach will arrive at Honeymoon Island before noon and depart at 5:00 p.m.
Please remember to clearly label all beach items—chairs, umbrellas, coolers, and beach bags—with your name before placing them in the motorcoach cargo hold
