From there, the adventure continues into the mountains of North Carolina with a scenic, first-class journey aboard the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad, where you’ll enjoy a plated lunch while rolling past vibrant fall foliage, rivers, and misty mountain views. The experience keeps building with exciting evening entertainment like the high-energy Pirates Voyage Dinner Show in Pigeon Forge and a nostalgic night of music at the Grand American Opry, featuring classic country, gospel, and patriotic favorites.
Along the way, you’ll also enjoy panoramic views from the Gatlinburg Tram and a relaxing lunch at Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant, all balanced with comfortable lodging at well-appointed hotels. Day 1
Begin your relaxing journey to the charming alpine village of Helen, with a comfortable travel day that includes an included lunch stop at Golden Corral in Tifton. Upon arrival, settle in for a two-night stay at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites, where you can unwind and refresh before gathering with fellow travelers for a welcoming group dinner buffet. Afterward, enjoy a bit of free time to explore the village—just note that local shops typically close by 6:00 p.m. on Sunday. During your stay, take advantage of the hotel’s convenient amenities, including a heated indoor pool and fitness center, making it the perfect place to relax and recharge between adventures.
Day 2
Enjoy a relaxed day at your own pace exploring the charming alpine village of Helen, beautifully decorated for Oktoberfest. Spend time browsing local shops, soaking in the festive atmosphere, and enjoying the unique Bavarian-style setting throughout town. Later in the day, gather with your fellow travelers for a delightful dinner featuring German favorites at the Hofbrauhaus. The evening continues with the vibrant Oktoberfest Celebration at the Festhalle, where you’ll experience lively polkas, waltzes, and traditional folk music in a joyful, welcoming atmosphere that captures the spirit of the season.
Day 3
Depart the hotel at 07:00 for the Biltmore Estate in Ashville, N.C. for a self-guided tour of the mansion followed by lunch at The Stables. Following your tour, the group will continue on to Drury Plaza Hotel Pigeon Forge for a comfortable two-night stay in the heart of the Smokys. Later in the evening, enjoy a lively night out at Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show, where a Southern-style dinner is served alongside an action-packed performance featuring competing pirate crews, thrilling sword fights, dramatic aerial stunts, and impressive water acrobatics set in a unique indoor lagoon theater.
B, L, DDay 4
Hot breakfast is available at the Drury. Depart at 08:00 for a Smokey Mountain Tour with a local guide who will show us the best of the Smokys, after our tour, the group will continue to Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant for a delicious included lunch in a warm, welcoming country setting.
In the evening, enjoy a memorable night at the Grand American Opry, where dinner and entertainment come together for a relaxing and uplifting experience. This nostalgic show features the music you grew up with—classic country, gospel, oldies, and patriotic favorites—creating an evening filled with toe-tapping rhythms, heartfelt melodies, and songs that bring back special memories.
Day 5
Begin your comfortable journey back toward central Florida with a relaxing travel day that includes planned stops along the way for rest and an independent lunch. In the late afternoon, arrive at the
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Macon North, where you can settle in, refresh, and enjoy a restful overnight stay. After check-in, gather with your fellow travelers for a relaxed group dinner at Golden Corral (included), a perfect opportunity to unwind, share highlights from the trip, and enjoy a comfortable evening together before continuing home the following day.
Day 6
Board the motorcoach for the final leg of your journey home, traveling in comfort as you reflect on the memories made along the way.
