Christmas Market in Helen

Day 1

The trip to Helen begins on Friday, with comfortable rest stops scheduled along the way so everyone can relax and enjoy the journey. We’ll stop for lunch at Golden Corral in Tifton, Georgia before continuing on to our destination. Upon arrival in Helen, the group will check into the Holiday Inn, where you’ll have time to freshen up and settle in. Later, we’ll gather for a warm and welcoming group dinner in the lobby to kick off our getaway together.

Day 2

Start your day with a hot, relaxing breakfast at the hotel before we head out together to the Christmas Market in downtown Helen. The town will be beautifully decorated for the holidays, filled with festive shops and cheerful vendors—perfect for browsing and picking up unique gifts.
Lunch today is at your leisure. You may choose to enjoy a sit-down meal at one of the local restaurants or grab a warm bratwurst from a street vendor while you explore. At 4:00 PM, the group will gather for a short ride to Hardman Farms, where you’ll enjoy a charming Victorian Christmas tour.

At 6:00 PM, we’ll depart for dinner on your own at the Nacoochee Grill, followed by a return to our hotel in Helen for a restful evening.

Day 3

After enjoying a hot breakfast, we’ll depart the hotel and begin our journey to Babyland General Hospital, the home of the beloved Cabbage Patch Kids. Nestled in the beautiful North Georgia Mountains, this charming Southern-style home offers a delightful and nostalgic experience. You’ll have time to explore at a comfortable pace, and with a little luck, we may even witness the “birth” of a new Cabbage Patch baby, —a fun and memorable moment! After some shopping and time to enjoy the visit, we’ll reboard the motorcoach and begin our return trip to Florida. We’ll stop for a relaxing lunch in Tifton, Georgia at Golden Corral before continuing home, bringing our wonderful getaway to a close.
