Day 1
As we make our way to Callaway Gardens, we’ll stop for a hearty buffet lunch at Golden Corral in Tifton, Georgia—a perfect way to relax and recharge. After lunch, we’ll take a brief but meaningful stop at the National Infantry Museum, where you’ll explore powerful exhibits showcasing our nation’s military history from its earliest days to the present. Recognized as one of the top military museums in the country, it’s a memorable and moving experience that has welcomed over 8 million visitors.
Next, we’ll arrive at the beautiful Callaway Resort & Gardens Lodge & Spa, where you’ll check in and have some time to freshen up before enjoying a delicious dinner with the group.
Then the real holiday magic begins! After dinner, bundle up and hop aboard the festive Jolly Trolley for a dazzling ride through Fantasy In Lights—named by National Geographic as one of the Top Ten Light Displays in the World. This unforgettable journey features more than 8 million sparkling lights and captures the true spirit and wonder of the Christmas season.
Day 2
After a hearty breakfast, we’ll board the bus and head out for a day full of fun and local flavor! Our first stop is Wild Animal Safari, where we’ll hop aboard a guided safari ride through the park. Get up close and personal with a variety of exotic animals—and yes, you’ll even have the chance to feed some of them along the way!
Next, we’ll enjoy lunch at one of Georgia’s most beloved country restaurants, Bulloch House Restaurant. Famous for its crispy fried chicken, homemade biscuits, and classic Old South cooking, this is Southern comfort food at its finest.
After lunch, we’ll continue to Plains, Georgia, the hometown of Jimmy Carter, 39th President of the United States. Stretch your legs, explore the charming town, and don’t miss your chance to snap a photo with the Giant Peanut—a quirky, 13-foot tribute to President Carter’s roots as a peanut farmer. The statue was originally commissioned during the 1976 presidential campaign and remains a fun, historical landmark.
Our final stop is a sweet one—We’re Nuts in Vienna, Georgia. This family-owned favorite along I-75 is packed with delicious treats. Sample everything from sugar-coated pecans to dark chocolate Grand Marnier-dipped delights, and be sure to grab one of their famously towering ice cream cones.
After this tasty treat, we’ll board the bus and head for home, hearts full of memories and maybe even a few new friends made along the way.
