Beehive at The Fireside

Join us as we travel to the Fireside Dinner Theatre in Fort Atkinson, WI to see Beehive!

Beehive is a high-energy celebration of the powerful female voices that defined the 1960s. Everybody loves the sixties. The fashions, the movies, the moon landing, and especially the music. Beehive brings it all roaring back with iconic hits from legends like Lesley Gore, Janis Joplin, The Shirelles, The Supremes, Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner, and so many more.

The show follows six young women coming of age during a decade of change, all backed by a live band. You’ll hear favorites such as “My Boyfriend’s Back,” “Be My Baby,” “Son of a Preacher Man,” and “Me and Bobby McGee,” making this a nostalgic, feel-good trip through one of the greatest eras of popular music.

Lunch at the Fireside is included before the show, with your choice of entrée, Loaded Baked Potato Soup, and Georgia Pecan Pie.

1. GRILLED PORK RIBEYE-

   A Boneless Pork Loin Chop seasoned and grilled until juicy and tender, crowned with a rich homemade pork stock demi-glace. Served with Basmati Rice and Broccolini.

2. SEARED ATLANTIC SALMON

   - A healthy 6 oz. filet of Fresh Atlantic Salmon seared to perfection, accompanied by a luscious Lemon Velouté Sauce. Served with Basmati Rice and Broccolini.

3. MEDITERRANEAN SHORT RIB-

   A beautifully marbled 8 oz. Beef Short Rib seared then slowly braised in Olives, Capers, Tomato, Basil, and Red Wine until it’s deliciously melt-in-your mouth tender, resting on a bed of Garlic and Herb Whipped Potatoes. Served with an intensely flavored pan sauce from the braising process, and Broccolini.

4. VEGETARIAN PASTA PRIMAVERA-

   A variety of seasonal vegetables seasoned and sautéed in homemade Pomodoro Sauce, tossed with Penne Pasta, sprinkled with Parmesan Cheese and a Basil Chiffonade.
