Lincoln Park Zoo & Navy Pier
Join us for a fun and easygoing day in Chicago, with time to explore two classic attractions at your own pace and enjoy the city’s lakefront in full spring bloom.
We will begin the day with a quick morning comfort stop before continuing into the city, giving everyone a chance to stretch and settle in for the day.
Our first stop is Lincoln Park Zoo, where you will have plenty of free time to wander the scenic grounds and visit a wide variety of animals. Popular exhibits include lions, snow leopards, gorillas, giraffes, penguins, seals, and the farm-in-the-zoo area. Spring is a great time to visit, with gardens coming to life and animals more active in the cooler weather. Lunch is on your own, with food options available inside the zoo and nearby.
Afterward, we will head to Navy Pier for the afternoon. Enjoy time strolling along Lake Michigan, taking in skyline views, and exploring the many shops and attractions. Highlights include the Centennial Wheel, Crystal Gardens indoor atrium, souvenir and specialty shops, and plenty of spots to grab a snack or drink. You can also relax by the water, watch boats on the lake, or simply enjoy the lively atmosphere. Lunch is also an option here if you prefer to eat later.
On the way home, we will stop at Lake Forest Oasis for bathrooms and dinner on your own, giving you time to grab a meal and unwind before the return trip.
