Lamers Tour & Travel proudly presents an enriching tour that celebrates the vibrant history and heritage of Chinese Americans in Chicago. Today, we gather at the iconic Chinatown Zodiac Square, where we will meet our knowledgeable guide who will lead us on this captivating journey filled with fascinating stories and cultural insights.

Our adventure begins with a scenic ninety-minute Motorcoach Tour, during which we will make several memorable stops at key landmarks that showcase the deep-rooted presence of the Chinese community in this city. Our first stop will be the magnificent Chinatown Gate, a striking entrance that symbolizes the unity and strength of the Chinese community. Next, we will marvel at the breathtaking Nine Dragon Wall, an impressive representation of Chinese art and mythology.

As we continue our exploration, we will visit the Pui Tak Center, a hub of cultural activities and community events, before making our way to the vibrant Chinese Zodiac Square—where you can learn about the significance of zodiac symbols in Chinese culture. Our tour wouldn’t be complete withoutseeing Ping Tom Park, a beautiful urban oasis that honors the contributions of Chinese Americans to the city.

One of the most anticipated highlights of the day is a guided tour of the serene Chinese Buddhist Temple. Here, we’ll gain a deeper understanding of the spiritual practices and traditions that have been cherished by the community for generations.

Following our enlightening tour, we will gather for a delightful family-style meal at a local restaurant, where we can savor authentic Chinese cuisine in the heart of Chinatown. And after lunch, you will have ample time to wander the charming streets of Chinatown at your leisure. Explore the unique shops, sample delicious snacks, or simply soak in the vibrant atmosphere of this culturally rich neighborhood before we gather to head back home.
