Experience the high-energy, nationally acclaimed tribute to Buddy Holly and The Crickets! Todd Meredith and The Rave-Ons have captivated audiences across the country with their dynamic performances, dedicated to keeping Buddy Holly’s legacy alive. Their shows have received widespread praise, including a 2018 review from the Alhambra Theatre & Dining in Jacksonville, which described them as “a journey down memory lane packed with over thirty songs that rocked the music world in the fifties and sixties.” Fans rave about the band's authenticity and infectious energy, especially when “the entire audience is standing and singing along at the end.”

On February 3, 1959—the day the music died—Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and J.P. Richardson tragically lost their lives in a plane crash. But their music lives on, thanks to Todd Meredith’s dedication. His journey began in 2007 when he was cast as Buddy Holly in The Buddy Holly Story musical, which inspired him to form this incredible tribute band. When he’s not touring with The Rave-Ons, Todd writes and produces original music from his home on the Jersey Shore. Today, he is recognized as America’s favorite Buddy Holly Tribute Artist.

Your experience at Suncoast begins when the Lamers’ bus arrives before the delicious American-style buffet opens. The buffet includes non-alcoholic beverages, with additional drinks available for purchase at your table. During the 15-minute intermission, dessert will be served. The matinee performance begins at 1:30 PM, pairing the signature buffet dining experience with an unforgettable afternoon of music—perfect for long-time fans and newcomers alike!
