Light Up! St. Augustine

Kick off the holiday season in unforgettable style with Light Up!, the dazzling opening ceremony of St. Augustine’s famous Nights of Lights festival. Known as “Flip the Switch,” this breathtaking event transforms our historic Ancient City into a glowing winter wonderland with more than three million shimmering white lights.

We arrive before the festivities begin to explore the city at your leisure and enjoy dinner on your own at one of St. Augustine’s many charming restaurants.

• Starting at 4:00 PM, catch Showtime USA performing in front of City Hall
• At 5:30 PM, sway to the big band sounds of the All Star Orchestra in the Plaza

Then, join the crowd in the Plaza de la Constitución at 6:30 PM as the city flips the switch and the lights come to life—an inspiring moment you won’t want to miss. Rooted in the Spanish tradition of placing a white candle in the window to welcome the season, Nights of Lights is more than just a stunning sight—it’s a celebration that warms the heart and lifts the spirit.

Our motorcoach departs from near the Visitor Center at 8:00 PM, giving you time to soak in the beauty of the lights before we head home.
