Chihuly And Fine Arts Museum

Explore the breathtaking Chihuly Collection at the Morean Arts Center, home to a permanent exhibit of renowned artist Dale Chihuly’s extraordinary contemporary glass sculptures. The space is purpose-built to showcase both art and architecture, featuring some of Chihuly’s most iconic works—Ruby Red Icicle Chandelier, Mille Fiori, Macchia Forest, Persian Ceiling, Niijima Floats, and The Seaforms. Just steps away, the Morean Glass Studio offers live glassblowing demonstrations, while The Theater provides an inside look at Chihuly’s creative process, studio, and global installations through a series of engaging films.

At 11:30 a.m., the bus departs from the Morean Arts Center for a brief ride to the St. Petersburg Museum of Fine Arts, the city’s very first art museum. Enjoy lunch on your own at Café Clementine, open until 3:00 p.m., then immerse yourself in an impressive array of exhibits spanning over 5,000 years of human history. Highlights include European masterworks, American paintings, ancient Greek and Roman artifacts, Asian art from diverse cultures, and a remarkable photography collection. Don’t miss the tranquil sculpture garden—an ideal spot to reflect and relax.

Note: Museum galleries are climate-controlled between 68–72°F for conservation purposes.
